Three races have converged, each one laying claim to Aquila Prime, a mineral-rich system of planets and moons light years from Earth.
Terran Confederation. Human colonists have inhabited Aquila Prime for several generations, using the system as a waypoint along the route to outer colonies. The humans rely on their adpatability and balanced ship builds to combat their alien foes' superior technology and unmatched brutality.
Estrid Collective. The ancient, proud race of the Estrid have claimed that the planetary system has religious sugnifigance to their race and will stop at nothing to purge the system of any other races, which they deem as infidels and pagans. The Estrid Collective's technology seems to break the very laws of physics itself, allowing their ships to bend space and become utterly invisible to other's sensors.
Dazahk Alliance. This mercenary bunch of warriors and merchant barons see the galaxy as theirs for the taking. Additionally, the Dazahk claim that Aquila Prime (as the humans call it) is one of their ancestral homes. The Dazahk ships are literally fortresses powered by the resources extracted from their attached asteroid(s). The Dazahk's brute force is nearly unstoppable.
Engage! will feature a simultaneous movement resolution system, helm controls for each captain as well as a targeting system that adds a unique dexterous spin to the space combat genre.
